| ...by my fiance. So lately, I haven't been feeling well and of course Glenn feels sorry for me. So to cheer me up, he asked me out on date when we both go home for christmas. After I pick him up from the airport, we'll eat brunch at my favorite place, Griddle Cafe, and finish some gift shopping. The way he asked was so cute too, he actually asked me if i wanted to go out on date with him. aww romance! i'm hoping that this will last for our entire relationship. it's looking good so far.

| It's fall and it's beautiful here in Illinois. The leaves are changing colors, bright reds, yellows, and orange.
I wish Glenn and I brought a camera with us today. We went to Powell's bookstore by U of Chicago and the treelined streets were breathtaking! And as we drove on lakeshore drive, the view of the trees against the backdrop of lake michigan was really beautiful. It makes me appreciate being where I am. Although I do miss California, I do love autumn in the midwest.
I'm begging Glenn to charge his camera so we can take pictures of our new home!
It's something that keeps me smiling despite all the stress that school keeps giving me.

| would have to relate to food. I would LOOOOOOOOVE to be a food critic or one of those travel journalist that just try different restaurants. And since I've been watching the foodnetwork non-stop for the past 4 hours while grading journals...I've decided to go through my favorite foods from cities i've been to. It's not an exhaustive list, but I'll try to add to it little by little.
So starting from close to home....
CALIFORNIA:
The Valley: Senor Fred's Potato & Cheese Flautas, Daglass Fries, Sushi Mac (It's so cheap!), nutella & banana belgium waffles from that place on ventura blvd. can't remember the name. Burbank: Chocolate Chip Donuts on Magnolia Blvd, the orignal Bob's big boy's tuna melt, pinocchio's sandwiches, cheesebread at that one steakhouse by warner bros, Glendale: PORTO'S BAKERY!!!!!!!!! potato balls, fruit tart cake, cuban sandwiches, cheese rolls, guava and cheese rolls, actually...the whole menu is delicious. The Greater Los Angeles Area: Versailles, I love their platanos and garlic chicken, Sprinkles...gotta love the red velvet cupcakes, korean bbq at that one restaurant jina took me to, mami king, manila sunset, stinking rose, hot wings, BEARD PAPAS!! The best ice blended Chai lattes, Banana Mochas, tuna melts, and chocolate chip cookies. the best salad dressing i've ever had in my life (creamy herb) AND they put avocados in their salad. and it's so reasonable. | So awhile back, Eden sent me a link to this astrology site about her sign. The discription was dead on. It was really about Eden. So me being a sucker for astrology looked up my sign, Scorpio. I know that there are lot of stereotypes about scorpios being passionate people and being very sexual and stuff. But I think the word passionate, as said in my horoscope, really applies to other aspects. Scorpio's are really extreme people. There's no middle grown. I wonder if that's true for all scorpios. Speaking for myself, it's the serious truth. When I'm happy, I'm extremely happy. When I'm mad, I'll want to punch you in the face (but I won't because that wouldnt be advantageous for me). I also think I get jealous really easily. Another scorpio trait. And the scariest aspect, I think, is my tendency to get my revenge. If you're nice to me, I'm nice back. If I find that you're a good friend, I will be the most dedicated and loyal friend. But if you mess with me, I will try to get back at you with everything I've got. Although, that doesn't happen often, it has in the past. And I really feel bad for one particular person who tried to screw me over with money and housing, and basically, she was the one assed out. No place to live and no friends. Does that make me a bad person? I don't think so, I think I was just helping a long karma. But this is also true, for less extreme cases.
Basically, I'm writing this because I'm in a really bad mood. And I feel my dark scorpio side coming out. I really want to get revenge but I'm trying to control my anger and let things go. I don't like it when people act inconsiderate towards me. And this person should know that by now. Why he's so clueless, I will never know. It might be because he's a self-centered leo. Which is of course the most irritating part. Who knows what will happen by the end of the weekend.
